Hi
I need to create a live office report. The webi report imported to EXCEL has a date prompt. I can refresh the report in Lauch Pad without any date prompt problem, but when I imported the same report to EXCEL, and tried to refresh the live office report. It showed "Failed to get the document information.(Lo 26315). Argument cannot be null.(Error:RWI 00010) error", even though I gave the prompt argument which is a date selected from Calender.
Can any one please help on this issue

Hi,
I have a problem when I try to view the dashboards.
The dashboard get stucked in the initializing screen.
I restart the SIA and check all the servers in the CMC and everything looks fine.
I dont know if this is database issue or a problem in the BO platform.
Any advice??

I m trying to consume a SAP ERP web service from Dashboard. I created a module function that return the name of the person being connected to the system. I have followed this document:
The dashboard works fine in Xcelsius, but when I deploy it in the BO server, it shows me the message: Cannot access external data...
Any suggestion would be helpful.

despite I set up the Option( Extend) in my Query Design. I can Connect this Query with my Dashboard.Below you can see the Setting of my Query.
I can See the Query in my Dashboard but I can select it --- below you can see what I mean

Dear Gurus,
we have SAP ECC system, SAP BW system and SAP BI(BO) system.
Now the data flow is as given below,
ECC ---> BW ---> BEX query(Datasource for my BO dashboard).
I always use the BEx query as my data source for my dashboard.
Here is a scenario for one KPI, i initially display the count of employees for whole organization and when the user clicks on the chart, it gives count nationality wise.
For this drill down feature i have used "Combo box" (Data Insertion--Insertion type "Filtered Rows"),and the drill down work fine.
My question is, is this the preferred approach for drill down, only "combo box" component must be used? Can we use other components also?
Please share me your ideas.

The web service is providing sales values from WebI and place on excel sheet of Xcelsius.
the issue is when I test WS over WebI Web Service is showing different figures on a data block for a specific column while all other column values show the same values as WeBı publishes...
How can I further analyze and correct those mismatching columns?

Hi Experts,
i have just added a bex query into the dashboard via query browser (based on BICS OLAP con) and could get the
correct data in Preview mode (works OK!).
1.when I save the dashboard to boe, it could't work. the flash panel always stay in 'Initializing...' mode and without any error message.(crash)
2.when I export the dashboard to local file (ppt,html) , then open it ,the same issue occured (the same as above).
3*.webi works ok on BOE which using the same BICS connection.

Hello Everyone,
We have predefined list of countries and their revenue. I am looking for a functionality where a user gives a random number of his choice in a input box. then the excel has to pick the countries that are less than the revenue given and write them to seperate cells, then a spreadsheet table has been setup to show the resultant countries to the user. Here I have included few screenshots.
Pre-Defined Revenue values:
So according to this, 43270 is revenue given by user and the excel has to write, Germany Spain and Norway to seperate cells.

Problem Scenario:When i test this webservice inside SAP GUI manullay this works fine(ITS url works fine) but when i trigger this webservice from BI Dashboards 4.0 it i get dump as follows."Exception condition "HTML_CONTROL_ERROR" raised."
Please suggest.Your help is highly appreciated.

I have the below issue with reset button when used along with dynamic visibility being enabled on label based menu and radio button. I did go through forum threads and the closet i found was issue with radio buttons having issue with dynamic visibility being enabled but thats ona different environment level.
Reset button unable to default selections of label based menu and radio button when label based menu and radio button are associated with dynamic visibility on the dashboard. We have tested the to see if reset button is able to reset these
components to default values using labels attached to destination of the mentioned components and found that values are getting reset to default values and the issue is with these components unable to pick those default values when push button is clicked which shows up these components on the dashboard. We have further tested to see if it is working when there is no dynamic visibility associated with these components and found that these components are able reset to default selections when dynamic visibility is not there.

Hi All,
I have created a Dashboard using Bex Queries in from which I need to pass the parameters to webi. All the parameters are passing correctly to the webi report except when I select Not assigned-"#". By passing the key "#" to the webi report when Not assigned is selected on the dashboard the Webi report is not returning correct results also it is ignoring the other prompts as well when I select the "not assigned". I understand that the Opendoc URL that we use in Dashboard is Encoded the special character "#" will be converted to something and hence the Webi is not working as expected. Is there a possible solution on the dashboard end or should this issue be addressed at BW level?
Can anyone help me on this issue?
